Enhancements
Your Tarion data keeps flowing after the API change
Tarion adjusted the XML structure of the data they send back, and ordinarily that kind of change is the sort of thing that quietly breaks a retrieval until someone notices missing records. You don’t have to do anything about it. We’ve updated the Tarion data retrieval routine to read the new response format, so the warranty information you depend on keeps landing where you expect it.
See your Staging Cases workload at a glance
When you open Staging Cases, you can now tell straight away how much is waiting for you, instead of scrolling to find out. A new “No. of Items” FlowField and matching cue tile show the count — a number you can click to open the list — so you know upfront whether one case is waiting or fifty before you start triaging.
Read the whole error message, not just what fits in the column
Long messages used to get cut off at the edge of the column, so you couldn’t tell what actually went wrong without exporting or copying the value out. Now the “Message” and “Error Message” fields work as hyperlinks — click one and the full text opens in a multiline popup you can actually read.
To see the full text:
- Open the Integration Log, Staging Cases, or Staging Items page.
- Click the “Message” or “Error Message” value on the row you want to inspect.
- Read the full message in the popup that opens — line breaks intact, copyable, the whole thing in front of you.
Corrections
Background errors no longer disappear quietly
Before, when something went wrong inside a background process, the error didn’t always make it back to you — leaving you to wonder why a job stopped without a clear reason. We’ve tightened up background session management so errors that occur during background processing are captured and surfaced where you can see them. When a background task fails now, you get the message that explains what happened.
