HomeBuilder Release 26.3.20250721.205285

Please review the "HomeBuilder Release Notes Testing Advisory" prior to installing on your system.

This is a regular, scheduled Dynamics Business Central SaaS release of HomeBuilder on Microsoft AppSource. This release contains improvements and fixes, as reported in implementations and usage, by consultants and/or customers and is aggregated monthly. Details below.

Enhancements

  1. In the "Sales Invoice" page, the "Populate from Planning Lines" action allows you to add invoice lines from the planning lines of a lot, even if the customer on the lot is different from the customer specified on the invoice. To enable this feature, ensure that the "Diff. Customer than Lot on Sales Inv." checkbox is checked on the "HomeBuilder Setup" page.
  2. New notification is added to the "My Notifications" page: HomeBuilder - Warn about Usage not be linked to the Project Planning because the Project Planning Line No. field is empty.
  3. A Service Issue can be deleted even if it is part of a Work Order in 'New' or 'Cancelled' status. In this case, the system performs the following actions:
  • Delete related Planning Line if it is not referenced by other transactions
  • Delete related Work Order Line if the Work Order is in Status 'New'
  • If there are no lines left in the Work Order it will be deleted as well.
  1. We allow the deletion of a line in a Service Work Order when its status is 'New'. In this case, the system performs the following actions:
  • Delete related Planning Line if it is not referenced by other transactions
  • Clear reference to the Work Order Line in the Service Issue
  1. We have improved the process of canceling a Service Work Order. Upon cancellation, the system performs the following actions:
  • Unlink Work Order Lines from Planning Lines
  • Delete associated Planning Lines if they are not referenced by other transactions
  • Clear reference to the Work Order Lines in the related Service Issues
  1. In the "Service Issues" page, you can open the "Service Issue Card" by clicking "Issue No."
  2. In the "Service Issue Card" page, the "Comment" field is moved below the "Deficiency Type" field.
  3. In the "Construction Items" page, we added the "No. of Trades to Notify" flow-field as well as the cue to the fact-box.

Corrections

  1. On the "Service Issues" page, the "Vendor Work Order No." field correctly drills down to the "Work Order Card" page.
  2. On deletion of Planning Line, the system checks references from Purchase Lines and Sales Lines (along with other references)
