Enhancements
Pre-defined Packages
Based upon customer feedback we have created Pre-defined Packages to improve the way that color chart selections can be processed. These are accessed from Lot Selection Choices (same as current selection package option).
Pre-defined packages offer three basic improvements:- More control in the pre-creation of upgrade levels and upgrade packages.
- More options to reduce (or increase) the number of selections that must be made for the customer service person preparing the Color Chart Selection.
- We can create model specific selections and not just rely upon House Areas and Item Categories to determine what is presented.
- To access Pre-defined Packages, navigate to menu HomeBuilder - Setup - General - Pre-defined Packages in the "HomeBuilder Executive" or "HomeBuilder Admin" role centers, or open this page using the Search function.
-
- The "Pre-defined Packages" page has the following actions:
-
-
- Package Lines Opens the "Pre-defined Package Lines" page.
- Push to Model Adds selected Pre-defined Packages to selected Models
- Copy to New Copies the current package to a new one
-
-
- The page "Pre-defined Package Lines" allows for editing the lines of a pre-defined package.
- The page contains the following actions
Action Name |
Action |
Add Items |
Adds lines from selected Item. The lines will have an empty House Area Code. |
Add Items with House Areas |
Adds lines from selected Items and their applicable House Areas. |
- In the "Models" and "Model Card" pages, you can define which Pre-defined Packages are applicable for the Model by running the action "Pre-defined Packages".
- In the "Lot Selection Choices" page, the action "Add Pre-defined" has been added. This action allows users to add lines to Lot Selection Choices from the selected Pre-defined Package.
Trade Type Notifications
- With this release, the "Trade Type Vendors" page, previously accessed from the "Phases" page, is now deprecated. To determine which vendor is associated with a trade type for a phase, please use the "Vendor Contracts" page.
Other Enhancements
- In the "Lots" page, the "Un-site Model" action works for multiple records selected by a user.
- On the "Document Layouts" page accessible from the "Global Vendor Card," we have introduced the functionality to populate lines using the action "Copy from Report Selections." This feature operates in the same manner as it does on the "Vendor Card" page.
- In the "Vendor Document Layouts" page, available from the Roles Centers menu, we added the action "Copy from another Company".
- In the "Vendor" page, the "Email" column has been added.
- On the "Checklist Items" page, you can push selected Checklist Items to multiple Inspection Types where the checkbox "Requires Checklist Entries" is set to 'Yes'. To do this, use the action "Push to Inspection Types".
- In the "Purchaser Selection Options" report, we included the columns "Item Category Code" and "Item Category Description".
Corrections
In the "Global Vendor Card" and "Global Vendor Bank Account Card" pages, the size of the "Home Page" field has increased to 255 characters.
- Deleting an Item Category House Area or Global Item Category House Area does not remove the related Lot Selection Choices.
- In the "Lot Card" page, changing the "Lot Type Code" does not clear the "Model Code" if the newly assigned Lot Type is applicable to that Model.
- Assigning a parent category to an Item Category does not impact the House Areas associated with that Item Category. To include House Areas from the parent, use the "Populate from Parent" action in the "Item Category House Areas" page. Please note that this action will not delete any existing Item Category House Areas.
- Action "Push to Models" has been fixed to correctly process variants of items with Designation 'Customer Fee'.
- Action "Release" for Lot Selection Package has been fixed to accurately display Planning Lines for trade notifications related to bundle items.
