Enhancements
House Area Allocation
“Model Item House Areas” are now replaced with “House Area Allocations”. We have extended the original functionality to not only show which Items are allocated to the House Areas of a Model, but now to also show what quantities, costs and prices are on these items.
View the "Model Item Allocation" pages from the Model or Model Items card or list pages" by clicking the action button "House Area Allocation"
- The "Model Item Allocation" records get created automatically upon “Push to Models” from Items.
- As a user, you can override the Quantity determined by the system by entering a new value in the "Qty. Override" field. This Quantity (or Qty Override) value is used with the Planning Line gets created.
- In the "Model Budget Page" the values in the "Model Item Amount" column are retrieved from the Model Item Allocation table.
- If you change the Quantity in Model House Area Measurement, the system automatically updates the Quantity in corresponding records of Model Item Allocation if the "Pricing Method" of the Item is 'Measurement'.
- On deletion of an Item House Area or Model House Area, the corresponding records in Model Item Allocation get automatically deleted as well.
- The report "Selections Price List" is re-designed to be based on Model Item Allocations.
Bundles Lite (Additional Items)
- A major new piece of functionality to simplify item setup is the new concept of bundles lite.
- Simply put, you can now just specify additional items to be included in color chart selections. This means that you no longer must create a bundle and component (duplicate item) when selling things like hardwood.
- The main item (the bundle) must have a Designation 'Single Item'.
- The additional items (the components) can either have a Designation of 'Single Item' or 'Component'.
- The additional items have the following fields (along with others)
Item No. |
"No." of the additional item |
Default Variant Code |
If the Item has variants, you can define Default Variant Code if the bundle lite is 'Base Contract'. When Model is sited on a Lot, the planning lines for the additional item will be created with this Variant Code. |
Quantity Per |
How much quantity of the additional item is to be used per 1 unit of the main item. |
Total Quantity |
How much quantity of the additional item is to be used regardless of the quantity of the main. |
Per Bundler |
item. Usually, the value of this field is 1. |
Override Cost/Price |
When set to 'No', the "Unit Cost" and "Unit Price" are retrieved from the Item specified by "Item No.". Otherwise, you must specify "Unit Cost" and "Unit Price" in the additional item record. The value of the "Override Cost/Price" is always 'No', if the additional item has "Cost Per Variant" set to 'Yes'. |
Unit Cost |
Unit Cost of the additional item. |
Unit Price |
Unit Price of the additional item. |
- Section "Additional Items" is added to the pages "Construction Item Card", "Phase Item Card", and "Model Item Card". The is section is shown for the Items with Designation "Single Item".

- In the page "Lot Selection Choices", when a user enters "Item No." of a bundle lite item, the system automatically creates choices for additional items. The same logic works on running action "Populate" for Color Char selection packages. Field "Parent Line No." is added to the choices grid to indicate the choice with the parental (bundle lite) item.

- For Item:
Vendor Contracts
Vendor Contract Revisions, which are prior to the current, are now just kept as a historical record. There are no longer any automatic updates to these records.
- Action "Push to Model" available in Construction Items adds or updates Contract Revision Items only in the current Contract Revision.
- On changing "Unit Cost" in phase or model item (variant, component), the "Unit Cost" gets updated in the corresponding contract revision item of the current revision only.
- Actions "Push Costs to Lots" and "Import Phase Items" in the "Contract Revision Items" page are enabled only in the current Contract Revision.
- Action "Create New Revision" in the "Vendor Contract Revisions" page is re-designed to comply with the following rule. The first revision gets populated with the Phase Items assigned with the Vendor Contract. The next revisions get populated by copying contract revision items from the previous revision.
