This release lets you work with lot prices before tax — entering net amounts and letting HomeBuilder calculate the gross, or starting from the gross and seeing the net breakdown alongside. Markets that quote pre-tax prices or apply a tax rebate now have the fields they need directly on the Lot.
Set your defaults in the new Taxation section on the HomeBuilder Setup page:
When Show Net Price Fields on Lot is selected, the Sales section of the Lot Card and Lots pages shows net price fields alongside standard totals:
Model Price (Net), Original Price (Net), Premium Amount (Net), Offer Price (Net), Amendment (Net), Total Price (Net), Tax Percentage, Total Tax Amount, Tax Rebate, Total Price, Deposits, Outstanding Amount, Land Cost, and GST Margin Scheme Base.
Change Original Price (Net) or Premium Amount (Net) and HomeBuilder recalculates Original Price, Premium Amount, and all related values using the Tax Percentage.
Amendment (Net) is a FlowField — a running total you can click to drill into the related Lot Selection Packages.
When Show Net Price Fields on Lot is cleared, the Sales section shows the standard gross fields:
Model Price, Original Price, Premium Amount, Offer Price, Amendment, Tax Rebate, Total Price, Deposits, Outstanding Amount, Land Cost, and GST Margin Scheme Base.
Change Original Price or Premium Amount and HomeBuilder recalculates the net equivalents and all related values using the Tax Percentage.
Context-sensitive online help is now available or updated on the following pages: House Area Groups, Group House Areas, Lot Ledger Entries, Lot Customers, Model House Area Measurements, Model House Areas, Model Items, Phase Items, Phase Item Card, and Pre-defined Packages.
When you add a Pre-defined Package to Lot Selection Choices, HomeBuilder now shows a summary message: the number of choices added and how many Items and House Areas in the package lines apply to your Lot's Model. You can see at a glance what was picked up and what fell outside the Model's scope.
When you delete multiple Item Variants at once, the confirmation dialog for cascading deletions in Phases and Models appears only once — covering all selected records rather than prompting you separately for each one.
When a Deficiency Type Code is assigned to a Service Issue but the Phase Item carries no Vendor No. or Vendor Contract No., HomeBuilder now falls back to the Default Vendor No. and Default Vendor Contract No. on the associated Item. Vendor details are populated automatically in this scenario instead of being left blank.
Bug Fix: The Service Work Order report now prints correctly whether or not the work order contains lines. Previously, an empty work order caused the RDL layout to fail.
