Enhancements

After-sales Service

This release continues on the prior after-sales service functionality improvements.

  1. Two more fields are now available in Service Issues:
    1. Issue No.
    2. Days Outstanding

The "Issue No." field provides a unique identifier for Service Issues within the company using the numbering series specified in the HomeBuilder Setup.

The "Days Outstanding" field indicates how many days have passed Due Date for the service issue. "Days Outstanding" turns red after a certain number of days as specified in the field "Critical Days Outstanding" in HomeBuilder Setup ("After-sales Service" section).

  1. The Service Work Order report now prints "Status" and "Days Outstanding" of related Service Issues. The old report print-out is available in report layouts rdl and ASVendorWorkOrder_Basic.docx. When the report option "Print Pictures" is set to 'Yes' then all report layouts, new and old, print the pictures associated with the related Service Issues.
  2. In the "Deficiencies by Vendor" report, the "Due Date" column is replaced by "Days Outstanding". This also turns red in the same manner as the screen view. This report has also been updated with some visual enhancements for improved clarity.
  3. In the "Service Issues" page, we added the "Print and Email" action. This action groups selected Service Issues by Vendor and sends the "Deficiencies by Vendor" report to each of those Vendors.
  4. Menu items "Deficiencies by Lot" and "Deficiencies by Vendor" have been added to the main menu of the "HomeBuilder Inspector" role center under HomeBuilder àReports.

Lot Selection Packages

  1. In the "Color Selections" page, accessed from Phases, a checkbox column labeled "Do not populate in Color Chart" has been added. When this checkbox is selected, the combination of House Area and Item Category will not be included in the selection choices created by the "Populate" action available for Lot Selection Packages of Type 'Color Chart'.
  2. In the page "Lot Selection Choices", we modified the default sorting order in a way which ensures that the additional choices are listed right under the bundle choice.
  3. In the page "Lot Selection Choices", we added the "Item No. and Variant" column. The cell lookup opens a pop-up page displaying the items and their variants for selection.

If you enter a string into the "Item No. and Variant" field and then press the lookup, the pop-up page with available selections will be limited to the lines containing the entered string in one of the following fields: "Item No.", "Item Description", "Variant Code", "Variant Description".

Enhancements

  1. Matrix Views, these help view and update complex data and long structures in an x and y axis view. We have added a few new views.
    1. "Lot House Area Matrix" access from HomeBuilder Operations - Principle - Model House Area Matrix in role centers "HomeBuilder Executive" and "HomeBuilder Admin". Also from the general Search.
    2. For measurements (take-offs) on a Model we have the "Measurement Matrix". Select the "Measurement Matrix" action from either the "Models" page or the "Model Card" page.
    3. For measurements (take-offs) on a Lot we have the "Measurement Matrix", Select the "Measurement Matrix" action from either the "Lots" page or the "Lot Card" page.
  2. Cues and Flowfields to help find related information without clicking elsewhere:
    1. In the "House Areas" page, we have included two new cues to the fact box: "Model" and "Lots".
  3. In the "Split Costs Across Lots" page, which is accessed from the "Purchase Invoice" page, the fields "Default Line Type," "Default Cost Detail Code," and "Default No." are editable. These fields are initially populated from the Vendor Card but can be modified as needed.
  4. The action "Model Items" has been added to the "Model Additional Items" page. This action displays the Model Items that are related to a Model Additional Item when it has a Cost Scope "Per Model/HA" and its bundle has a Cost Scope "Universal."
  5. The layout of the "Installment Tracking" report is changed for improved clarity.

Corrections

  1. Bug fix: Fixed the logic for bundles light for the case when the Cost Scope of parent Item is 'Universal' and the Cost Scope of an Additional Item is 'Per Model/HA'.
  2. Bug fix: Fixed the rounding error in price/profit calculation for Construction Items.
  3. Bug fix: Fixed the deletion on unused Model Item Allocation records upon running action "Push to Model".
  4. The action "Send to Selected" in the "Send Deficiencies to Vendors" page checks the presence of email address not only in the Vendor Card but also in the Vendor Document Layouts.
