Important: Action Required Before Upgrading

This release drops support for Business Central versions earlier than BC 25. If your environment is running BC 24 or earlier, you must upgrade Business Central before installing this version of CSM-Core.

This release also permanently removes several deprecated features. Review the Compatibility Updates section below to confirm that none of the removed items affect your environment before upgrading.

Compatibility Updates

Business Central 24 and Earlier No Longer Supported

CSM-Core now requires Business Central 25 or later. This aligns CSM with the versions of BC that are actively supported by Microsoft and ensures compatibility with current platform APIs and runtime behavior.

• All dependent CSM marketplace apps (CSM-Shopify, CSM-Amazon, CSM-BigCommerce, CSM-Magento-Adobe, CSM-WooCommerce, CSM-Walmart) share this requirement.
• If you are not sure which version of BC you are running, check Help & Support → Troubleshooting in Business Central.

OAuth 1.0 Fully Removed

OAuth 1.0 support has been fully removed from CSM-Core. This authentication standard is no longer supported by most modern API platforms and was previously deprecated with a warning in CSM.

The following have been removed:

• The OAuth option in the Authorization Type field on API Credential records. Only OAuth 2.0 and other current authorization types remain.
• The four OAuth 1.0 credential fields on the CSM API Credential page: Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Access Token, and Access Token Secret.

Action required: If any of your API Credential records are configured with Authorization Type = OAuth, reconfigure them to use OAuth 2.0 or another supported type before upgrading.

Permission Set Cleanup

The CSM SENAPI Order Management codeunit entry has been removed from the CSM Core permission set as part of routine maintenance.

Prepared for Business Central 28

An internal procedure call used in the Auto Assign Lot Number feature has been updated to the current supported equivalent in the BC base application. Automatic lot number assignment for lot-tracked items works exactly as before. This update ensures CSM-Core will continue to compile correctly when BC 28 becomes available.
